Chef Ian Clarke’s love of German food goes back to his early childhood. He was born and raised in Lahr, Germany, living in military housing known as Private Married Quarters or PMQs. These days, he runs a restaurant in Halifax where he is creating dishes inspired by the meals his mom used to make.
