Police in Halifax are investigating a shooting in the north end of the city early Wednesday morning.
Halifax Regional Police says the shooting took place on Duffus Street near the Lady Hammond Road and Robie Street intersection around 1:40 a.m.
Officers found a 39-year-old man at the scene who had been shot. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say a dark-coloured SUV was seen in the area at the time of the shooting.
