On Sept. 8, 2024, the Nova Scotia Native Women’s Association invited guests and community members to the inauguration of its Resilience Centre. The site will be dedicated to healing and the resilience of Indigenous women, girls, 2SLGBTQ+ people and their families. The CBC’s Jeff Douglas was given a tour by project lead Zabrina Whitman.
