
Halifax police say the disappearance of 16-year-old Devon Sinclair Marsman is now considered a homicide and two people have been charged in his death.
Marsman was last seen the week of Feb. 21, 2022.
In a news release Tuesday, police said his body has been found and is now with the Medical Examiner’s Office for official identification.
On Monday afternoon, police arrested 26-year-old Treyton Alexander Marsman and a 20-year-old man who was a youth at the time of the murder.
Treyton Marsman is charged with second-degree murder, indignity to human remains and obstruction of justice.
A 20-year-old man is charged with accessory after the fact to murder and obstructing justice.
The Youth Criminal Justice Act prohibits the publication of anything that could help identify someone under 18 who has been charged with a crime.
