Nova Scotia RCMP say the search for a child who went missing Thursday afternoon while fishing in Cooks Cove, N.S., will resume, but it’s unclear when.
RCMP spokesperson Cindy Bayers said the search was suspended Saturday at 5 p.m. AT.
Bayers said officials are determining the next phase of the search, but was unable to offer a timeline.
She said the search will primarily be by air.
RCMP say the child fell into a river while fishing with a man and another child. The man jumped in the water to rescue the child, but was unsuccessful.
