A 30-year-old man from Sipekne’katik has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a man in Upper Musquodoboit, N.S.
Nova Scotia RCMP, EHS and fire services responded to a report of a man in distress in the 8000 block of Highway 224 around 1:20 pm on May 20.
Police say emergency crews found an injured 41-year-old man in cardiac arrest.
He was taken to hospital where he later died.
Officers determined the man had been involved in a fight earlier in the day.
The suspect was arrested on May 23 in connection to the victim’s death. He remains in custody and will appear in court Monday.
