Halifax police say a 39-year-old man is dead after a shooting in Dartmouth Friday night.
In a press release Saturday morning, Halifax police said they responded to a report of a shooting on Lahey Road in Dartmouth at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Officers located a man who had been shot and confirmed dead at the scene.
Police has not identified the victim, saying they are investigating the case as a homicide.
